Your package shipment
Packages are generally dispatched within 3 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via the selected delivery service. Whichever shipment choice you make, we will provide you with a link to track your package online if applicable.
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight and or size of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them.
All vintage and older items are unsurprisingly quite delicate at 30+ years old. We "double pack" these older items. There is an inner box containing your item enclosed in bubble-wrap or similar. This box wrapped in bubble or foam protection and is placed in a sturdy double wall outer box. This tries to ensure (excepting total crushing) that the item at worst can only be jostled a bit not shaken hard.
So although the packaging element of the shipping cost appears quite high there is good reason for it.
Returns
I need to reiterate here that the items for sale are one-off there is no way to "re stock" once sold they cannot be replaced. When you are buying 30+ year old equipment there is however going to be a risk of failure after shipping. in the unfortunate event that you do need to return something it should be packaged in the boxes and wrapping that it was received in.
